High-energy feed mix with puffed and extruded cereals and high levels of B-complex vitamins for performance horses.

 

Benefits:

  • Includes puffed and extruded cereals to provide digestible starch as a safe source of energy.
  • Puffed cereals have many benefits compared to unprocessed cereals, such as slower release of energy, fewer sugar peaks, lower risk of digestive problems like colic or gastric ulcers, more nutrients and energy in a smaller amount of feed, more flavour, longer gastric retention, and slower release in the small intestine.
  • Contains vitamin E to protect muscle cells against free radicals and support the natural functioning of the immune system.
  • Provides B-complex vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, calcium D-pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, choline chloride, niacin, cyancobalamin, folic acid and biotin), which play a key role in energy levels or contribute to improved metabolism of carbohydrates, nerve signals or the supply of oxygen to the muscles.

Composition (in descending order by weight):

Oats, Wheat middlings, Linseed husks, Barley, puffed, Wheat, puffed, Wheat bran, Maize, puffed, (Sugar) beet molasses, Soya oil, Soya (beans), toasted, Linseed, Spelt hulls, Oil seeds, broken, Horse bean flakes, Maize, Soya (bean) hulls, Sunflower seed meal, Wheat, Alfalfa, Rapeseed meal, Yeasts, Sodium chloride (salt), Calcium carbonate, Fructo-oligosaccharides, Hydrated magnesium silicate.

Provide between 0.7% – 1.0% bodyweight of the feed in conjunction with 1.5% bodyweight in forage divided into several meals, always with ad libitum clean water.

 

Example diets:

  • 600 Kg horse:

o  3 – 4.8 Kg of Superforce Cavalor per day divided over several portions, preferably after feeding roughage.

o   Ad lib forage.

 

Feeding examples are intended as a guideline only. Horses should be fed according to bodyweight, condition, and workload.
